The Daedalus is designed from the ground up to be an out-of-the-box, no-compromise workhorse. By choosing the best components in the industry, we are happy to say we achieved that.
Rigidity means speed
There are no printed or sheet metal parts to the Daedalus motion system. All of our CoreXY components are milled from Mic6 aluminum to provide unparalleled rigidity. Due to this rigidity, the Daedalus can achieve 150mm/sec print speeds at 0.02mm layer heights for immaculate prints
It all begins with the first layer
Your first layer is key to perfect prints. Rather than using bandaid solutions of bed compensation, we chose to do true tramming(leveling). The Daedalus achieves this by using three independently driven lead screws to properly tram the bed with deviations from edge to edge as low as 0.003mm.
Hardware, complimented by software
With uncompromising hardware, you need uncompromised control. The Duet 3 control board coupled with RepRap Firmware unleashes the full capability of the Daedalus. Connectivity through both WiFi and Ethernet.
